Long since absent from the fetish parties in Vancouver, Restricted Entertainment brought the 50/50 draw back into common practice by launching it at the 2010 Scarlet Harlots party in conjunction with $1 from every donation going to charity. While 50/50 draws have been around forever, prior to that party, they had been absent from the fetish scene for nearly a decade, and previous models were set up differently, and were ungainly in actual practice. This was the first event to set it up so $5 buys you one ticket, $10 buys you three, and $20 buys you seven ... when the winner is announced, they keep half the pot, with the other half going directly to charity!
