Stochastic Theory anyone?

Hi all.  I'm new here (see my post in the newbie section), but not new at all to any of this stuff.

My buddy is in a very up-and-coming synthpop/electropop band that you might of heard of: Stochastic Theory.  It has major tie in's to other Madison synth bands Null Device and Stromkern.  But it's unique stuff in it's own right and VERY VERY good.  Trust me, I don't do an announcement for just anyone I know in a band, this is particularly good music.  What You Weren't was an instant dance hit and played all over the country.  I heard it played at Death Guild in San Fran, for example.

Anyway "Soliloquy" is being released soon.  Check out some samples here https://www.stochastictheory.com/

There are release parties going on everywhere, but suprisingly not in Vancouver.  Here is a list of the cities that are doing a release party:

CHICAGO, IL (Nocturna's 16th Anniv Party!)

NEW YORK, NY (Albion/Batcave)

ITHACA, NY

RENO, NV

LONDON, UK (Slimelight)

WASHINGTON, DC (Chiaroscuro)

BALTIMORE, MD

SAN FRANCISCO, CA

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO

WEST PALM BEACH, FL

MIAMI, FL

BROOKLYN, NY

TORONTO, CANADA

Chuck sent me an advance copy of the CD and it's AMAZING.  If you want to hook up some kind of pre-club party or something, or even a more center stage release party... let me know.  I have ZERO contacts so far in this town, so someone else would have to pull the political weight on this one.   hehe

Matt posted this in his lj.  Pretty cool.  I'm so proud of Chuck.

Stoch Theory and REVERENCE info

Stochastic Theory's debut comes in at #12 on A Different Drums' best sellers-- http://www.adifferentdrum.com/bestsell.php

Not too shabby for a non-ADD release.

It's on DSBP (www.dsbp.cx) now too for only $12, and hopefully will be on Amazon.com soon as well. Pick up a copy today. If you're in D.C. for Freaks United, check out the merch booth for copies of that and Sonic Mainline's HaLO compilation!
