Gothic BC

I'm almost ready to go live with a new format for the photo gallery. This is the fourth major overhaul to the gallery since it was first launched in 2000.

The main new features thumbnails that are three times larger than the current gallery, adaptive image resizing to fit your screen, better browsing within a gallery with faster loading full-size images and captions that won't get out of sync if you scroll too fast, and the picture ratings is a little slicker.

This is a beta at this point. There are still a few more things to fiddle with and a couple of current features that are as yet missing in the new galleries, and out of necessity some things like commenting on a picture will feed you back to the current gallery rather than the new one.
