What do people think about these 2 dudes? I was at comic con this year and got to see a Danny Elfman pannel, and he told everyone about his box set with Tim Burton. Sound kinda cool, but not much info yet. Anyone have anymore info on the project. This is all i could find so far https://burtonelfman.com/

Oh, look, your I.P. traces back to Warner Music Group. How very, very spammish. Fucking marketing weasel bastards pretending to be legitimate users...

Give me a good reason not to delete this and ban you.

Given that I have 6' × 4' Jack and Sally posters hanging in my hallway, it's pretty obvious to anyone that I love their work, nonetheless, box sets like this are hardly ever anything other than an attempt to get fans to shell out again for movies they already own.

Not movies. It's a box set containing Danny Elfman soundtracks to Tim Burton's movies. I'm not sure if it's ALL of his work with Burton or just selected albums.

I'm willing to buy it. I only own Nightmare Before Christmas so I'm not burning a lot of money on something I already have. Besides, Danny Elfman's Pee-Wee's Big Adventure score is a great listen(hoping it's on there) and I'm sure the actual box(holding the soundtracks and documentary dvd) is worth the price alone.

Ah, that does make a little more sense. Having the box and extras makes it worth buying over just downloading the music.

Nonetheless, it irks me that the thread was started by a marketing weasel from Warner Music Group who signed up pretending to be "just a user" to spam the forum. If they had, for example, said, "Hi, I'm from Warner Music Group and I thought your users would be interested in this new box set of Danny Elfman music we are putting out," I'd have no problem at all, but this fake endorsement was completely skeezy. The only reason I left the thread was because it *is* something people would be interested in.

True enough. And I suspect (although I haven't checked out the details of the set fully yet), this might be orchestral scores as well as the usual songs and opening themes. That would be worth the plunge. But still, the "trying to spam with subtlety" attempt was pretty lame.
