Gothic BC

Hey Everyone,

As this topic & title would suggest, I'm new to the group. I recently moved to Northern BC from Ontario for work and plan to make BC my new permanent home.

Professionally I work in Forestry and get to do quite a bit of travelling in the Northern portions of BC (I'm lovin' the mountains and views) and hopefully in the spring will be able to get down to the Southern portions like Vancouver.

I also hit the gym with astonishing frequency (I recently quit smoking so I gotta do something the fill my time), I'm a bit of nerd (think LARP) and I love to cook and bake.

I guess you could call my style (when not at work) comfortable goth. I don't wear high heels ('cause I can't walk in them) but I'm a big fan of corsets and almost anything with lace and ribbon. Being crafty helps me with my wardrobe because I'm able to add my own flair (skull ribbon, chains and buckles) to my clothes.

I'm looking to meet people with similar interests, obviously the goth one is a given but tips and tricks on crafty, gothy goodness would be awesome or even share recipes would be cool too.
