Gothic BC

I've begun doing a little rambling on what Goth is to me in my blog here in an embryonic effort to hash-out what I'm doing with this site. On the one hand I'm looking at the painfully impossible question "what is Goth?" from the descriptive angle, and on the other I also want to get into my ideas of what Goth should be in a more proscriptive way. I'm also looking at the site itself and musing "out loud" about where I've gone and where I might go in the future with this site.

So far there are five posts:
"Would you believe it's been 30 years?" - looking at the pivotal moment where Goth began to branch off Punk.
"20,000 Photos!" - reflecting on the 20,000th photo in the photo gallery and the role of the gallery.
"Rambling About Goth" - a few unfocused thoughts on where Goth fits in the bigger cultural picture.
"Photographers" - looking empirically at who has contributed to the gallery, and the documentary role of this site.
"Goth ? Fetish: Goth and Allied Scenes" - looking at how Goth's relationship with overlapping subcultures influences perception of what Goth is.
