Create a forum posting (not a an event listing calendar entry) with the general details about your recurring event and I will make it sticky for you if it is of a goth or goth-friendly nature.
One-off events and specific event details should be created as "Event Listing" calendar entries so they show up in the calendar with the right date and time and event-specific details.
