Monthly Thursday

So i've been offered a nice space to do a new monthly Thursday night. I"m thinking it would be really great to have another night of wicked music that we can all come out and party to, especially since we don't all get the weekends off and therefore are unable to attend Sin, Sanctuary or Descent. As far as sound goes its gonna be a mix of industrial, electro/industrial, cybergoth/punk, EBM and a whole bunch more (technocore, darkstep,etc). Basically a mix of everything. So yeah, basically i'm posting to see if there is any interest before i plug a whole bunch of money into promotions, etc.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

It would depend largely on the space. It's also notable that while the musical focus would be different you'd be up against Rock and Roll High School. It doesn't take to lose "critical mass" and in a small scene, any kind of split can be a major problem.

Yeah i did take that into consideration and i dont want to cut anyones grass, I like Jon and the RNRHS crew, just thought it would be cool to try somethig new and have a lil more variety, you know :)

On top of that, it would be once a month, not a weekly like RNRHS so i dont really see it causing a major "split" or anything like that.

True enough. Having something else to do would be a good thing - not that Thursday's are a good night for me, but I know there would be other people who would appreciate it.
