Seriously, I know these are long dead, but I haven't been to the clubs since really, now and then I have, and plan on doing so again. Anyways, I'm just trying to find poeple I actually know on here, so tell me!
Hey, figured I should introduce myself. I am new to this board but certainly not the scene. If anybody here ever went to Gateway or Resurrection you'd probably know me. If so, PM me I'm curious as to who you are!
I just moved to Vancouver Island from Alberta this summer to go to school. I am a photography student at NIC in Courtenay, and I am finding it very...... bland here. I am in the unfourtunate position of being so close and yet so far from Vancouver and Victoria and all the wondeful going-ons...... Not that I have the time for it, anyway.... :-/
Thought I'd best introduce myself before I start asking questions.
I'll be 27 this month, I'm a goth. Um. I ike both EBM/Industrial and tradgoth stuff. I'm currently stuck in Birmingham, UK where I run a moderately successful fortnightly goth pub night. Occasionally I DJ, but that's usually something best left to the professionals.
So a few of us have taken to going to this philosophy night across from Surrey Central Skytrain station (where all great minds congregate...) thought I'd make it an open invitation. We usually head westbound for drinks and post-discussion afterwards.
