So, my fashion sense has just started to evolve past the jeans and T-shirt arena, and I find myself interested more in things like leather pants (with side lacing - sooo rock star :)), fine fabrics like velvet/silk and so on, but I'm still a motor-head. I love speed, raw horsepower, flames on everything paintable and the smell of gasoline. Musical tastes range from 1980's cheese metal
Not your normal arty type post, but I figured I might have a thing or two to contribute to the group here :) The first few images are of game models I have done trying to bring a little rockabilly to a plastic cartoon world called There.com, and the last ones are a few pencil sketches of flash I was asked to do for a friend. Comments are most welcome :)
All prints are digitally printed artist's proofs, are professionally matted, signed, protected by a resealable mylar envelope and include and artist's information statement. Everything is priced in the neighbourhood of $5 CAD.
GOTHIC EYE PHOTO is seeking female models, no experience needed. Looking for models to pose for "TFP" (time for prints" . I am a semi-pro photographer who would like to get a good portfolio going on the Vancouver goth lifestyle. All models will receive free prints of all shots or a cd with all pics taken. I shoot in both 35mm film and digital.
First time here, but sadly about 3 weeks too late. Some friends were just over from Manchester and were looking for some good Goth clubs to hit, but not having ever really been a part of the scene I had no idea where to take them.
Then I hit this site and it all became clear - d'oh!
G'evening everyone. I am new here as of yesterday and wanted to drop a line in this section to say hi.
I feel fortunate to have found this forum actually. There are very little lo-cal goth-ic organ-ized groups on the net. Living in Vancouver, I almost feel right at home.
Dancing Ferret Recording Artists "The Cruxshadows" will be playing at the Pic Pub, 622 west Pender, on friday oct 22. Doors at 9., show starts at 930. We have guests Caustic Pleasures and Landscape Body Machine as well as DJ Pxyis to keep your stompy boots stompin.
All for the very reasonable price of $12, tickets at Scratch and Zulu, or $15 at the door the day of the show.
I just got back from the Siouxsie show at the Commodore. Despite the fact that things got started waaaay late (doors at 8:00, but the show didn't start until after 11:00) it was worth the wait. Despite standing and waiting for three hours the crowd was appreciative enough to get a second encore. Siouxise was charming and Budgie was a ham.
