Whether your shade of Goth is somber old school, hard edge industrial, synthpop or 80s, the Descent crew invites you to dance with us through the myriad facets of darkwave music. Join us for an evening that explores the shadows as we march into our 11th year of bringing Vancouver the best in new and classic alternative music.

It’s not always easy to get out and meet new people, especially in an alternative scene. Where do you go to connect with other members of your community aside from the few club events we have? What if clubs aren’t really your thing? Or what if you aren’t old enough to go to the clubs yet? Where do you connect with your community then?

Meetups are a great way to make new friends and connect with people. You don’t need to yell to be heard and it’s a casual and relaxed environment where you can socialize.
