Public: Anyone can view. I noticed there's a lot of new people, such as myself that are new to Vancouver/the scene here. Would anyone be interested in doing regular meet-ups nights at a coffeehouse or somesuch? I know the goth meetups they had here are pretty much defunct...who wants to revive them?
I thought so, but it's fine if you guys are only up for dinner this week and we do the tour another time. It would be less financially straining...
Yeah that's the only thing I'm worried about..
But you guys go ahead! I will still meet you at the cactus club for a drink and if I for some reason have more money on saturday then I will totally join the tour.
My friend owns me $40, I think it's time to give him a call...
Ok, Cactus Club on Robson at 6:30pm. The tours are three times a week: Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturdays starting at 8:00pm and going until 10:00pm. If you guys want to do that this week, let me know so I can call and see if it is possible. The tour costs $15/per person. And since it is my fiance's day off, I might bring him along, too.
Yeah, I'm totaly in, I can not go to New West however. My better half gets off work some time around six, so he may tag along as well. Where are we meeting then? New West or Cactus?

Oooh... a suggestion for a get-together, or for something to do after we grab a bite one Saturday night, but there are paranormal tours through Gastown that cost only $15 and end at 10pm, so it's not too late and I think it would be fun...

I may have plans with a girlfriend of mine, but nothing is set in stone. I don't know where I stand yet, but I think you should count me out this time. Money is too tight and I need some time to just unwind because of this whole thing with the guy that was living here which didn't end well... sorry.
Why not pick somewhere else, then? I am flexible, as it will cost as much for bus fare to get to New West as it will to get to Vancouver. I don't want to go to Cafe Crepe again so soon, though... where could we go to get some drinks, maybe a bite to eat, etc?
Hmmm, maybe the Cactus Club on Robson? They have awesome drinks and great food, and if we are lucky, we can get a booth in the back...

I assume you mean Saturday the 18th, because there is no Saturday the 20th this month.
However, I work until 2pm Saturday (my schedule is all random right now until we find some more employees), so sometime around 3:30, 4:00pm I could meet with some people for a little bit, but, like this past week, it would be a short visit simply because I have time constraints due to all the busing I have to do to get to and from Vancouver from Maple Ridge.
If you guys come up with a solid plan, let me know and I will do my best to be there.
Next week I can do Skank and something on Saturday, but that can't be too late.

Auburn, Cafe Crepe usualy serves liquer, they have some very yummy coctails. I'm all for meeting up there, but we can always squizz around for other places if thats the popular concencus(sp?).

I think we should continue to meet up at the Cafe Crepe on Robson. It's nice there, relatively quiet, dim lighting, blood red walls and awesome food and drinks. Anyone opposed?
I like that place as well but I wouldn't mind going somewhere where they have a liqour license next time :K)

The Cafe is at 1032 Robson, that is like a block west of the HMV(formerly Virgin) Superstore, on the south side(opposit of the mountains) of the road.
I look like a person. Basically if you show up and there is a mass of people all in black looking generally gloomy, that would be us!
It looks like I am only going to be able to stick around for about an hour before I have to catch a bus back to Coquitlam where my fiance is going to pick me up and take me home.
Also, Auburn, thank you for the offer for a drink, but if I don't get an advance I don't even have the money to catch the bus to get there let alone eat/drink anything. I have fifty cents left in my bank account and don't get paid for a week... it was a tight month. Can you tell?
The cafe place on robson is beside that club monaco store right?

Sounds good enough to me. I think the place we were planning to meet was the Cafe Crepe on Robson. Tomorrow night, 7:30pm. I hope that a few of us can meet up. Yay, I am excited! If I am not able to be there, though, it's because I haven't been able to get an advance on my paycheque and have no money. I hope to see everyone there.
