Sleep all day. Party all night. Never grow old. Never die… It’s fun to be a vampire.
The Rio Theatre‘s series of Halloween classics continues on Tuesday, October 19 with everyone’s favourite teen vampire thriller, Joel Schumacher‘s star-studded (two Coreys!) pop-culture touchstone THE LOST BOYS. The cult-classic story follows teenage brothers Michael (Jason Patric) and Sam (Corey Haim), who move with their mother (Dianne Wiest) to a small town in northern California. While the younger Sam meets a pair of kindred spirits in geeky comic-book nerds Edward (Corey Feldman) and Alan, the angst-ridden Michael soon falls for the beautiful Star (Jami Gertz) — who turns out to be in thrall to David (Kiefer Sutherland), leader of a local gang of vampires (including Alex Winter).
Can Sam and his new friends save Michael and Star from the undead….?
