The FALL is pleased to present a new solo exhibition of work by painter Martin Williams.
Martin Williams is a local Vancouver artist, and creates larger than life-size portraits and figurative scenes set in scenes of natural beauty. His style has a painterly realism that evokes a deep inner beauty and strength from his subjects. He has been an artist for over thirty years, having worked in North America and Europe, and has consistently exhibited his work. He balances his art with his massage therapy practice and teaching.
In "From The Same Earth", William's paintings are ethereal, mystical, and illustrate the embodiment of the female spirit. For this show, we've selected portraits that demonstrate the virtues of the goddess, the inner Lilith who creates and receives us at death. These portraits are complemented by Williams' water lily pieces, connecting the bringing of life, with the beauty of nature.
The FALL is honoured to once again host Williams' phenomenal works.
Original works, as well as prints will be for sale.
