(our ride and accomadation fell though)
we have now booked train
BUT are left short of funds
and nowhere to stay ..ouch!
might you have room
OR know someone going down for it
who may have room for us/and /or
know someone in Portland we may be able to stay with ?

a lot of folks will probably be leaving from seattle..and sure if you are giving a ride to someone from there,that they would invite you to stay over/spend the night ,THEN do the portland part of the trip the next day (I probaly could find one or two folks in seattle who would be willing to share help pay for the gas)in exchange for ride down from seattle top portland and back
Unfortunately Darksyde, our van is full. :/
However if you have a LiveJournal.com account, maybe post in gothicbc about needing a lift there as well - it's a broader crowd so you might be able to arrange something.
And of course, there's always Greyhound.
