Post whores

I am going to do a little rant here, but you can ignore it if you'd like.

I am growing increasingly frustrated with the people who come to this forum and post a bajillion times, often in long-dead threads, just to get their post level up.  No one likes a post whore, and often the threads you are dragging up are long forgotten or the issues talked about in them long since resolved or debated to death.  Yes, I know, you're new here and you want your opinion on the topics we've discussed heard, but here's the thing:  we're done with those topics and we don't need to hear your opinion!

Every new subscriber seems to do this.  They flood the forum with posts and then seem to disappear shortly there-after, posting only sporatically, when they have the inclination to do so.  Stop wasting everyone's time and either commit to being a relevant member of the boards who will contribute something new and interesting, or don't come in here at all.

Grr.

Sorry, can you all repeat that.. missed it.  Just kidding, don't have me killed.  I do have to question if anyone actually pays attention to the post meter rating thingy.  Anyway, I just could not resist...please ignore.

Thought, I have to add that re-anamating a dead thread is ok if you have something new and relavent to add. It's kinda like the "Hey, guys, remember that conversation we had  blablabla, well I just read some new reaserch and...."

Nono, I think this kinda falls on the 'lond gead thread' pile. No current fighting I'm afraid.

I have to agree with Trixy to some extent, it's pointless to ressurect a topic that has been debated to death to post something like "I agree with such and such".

Trixy you're making me want to do what you described. Unfortunately I happen to be very lazy so posting a whole bunch of crap is out of the question.

Are you two going to fight now?

Nice little attempt at a power trip there Trixy. Like that's a shock... You might not want to hear someone's opinion, that doesn't mean others don't. Not like these boards are overly used as it is, so the majority of posts are pretty old.

My mother always told me to choose my battles, I suggest taking that advice yourself.
