Want a new pet?

We just bought a couple female rats about two weeks ago, and apparently Peekaboo was pregnant when we bought her because she just gave birth to a litter tonight.  Since Jordan and I cannot hope to look after all the babies, we are sending out word to everyone we know:  If you want a smart, affectionate, easy to maintain pet, then talk to us and we will give you a rat once they have been weaned.  They are super cute!

So let me know if you are interested, or know anyone who would be.  The babies will be ready for new homes in about five or six weeks tops.

They are so amusing, too.  We watched them for like an hour tonight, watching them play and climb and bite the mums's tails and trying to steal food from Peekaboo and Fluff, the two older ones.  Once the other thirteen are active...  it's going to be insane!

The babies are going to be ready to go to new homes soon.  We have three from the first litter that need homes: a grey one (1), a brown one (2) and a black and white one (3).  In just a few weeks the other litter will be able to go to homes, too.  In that litter there are ten white babies, a black one, a grey one and a silver one (Will post photos once they open their eyes).  Anyone who is interested, or knows someone who is, let me know.  We are willing to take a day off and deliver them.
