Hmmm... I responded to this last night but it seems my post has been eaten.
Anyway, I was going to suggest True Value Vintage on Robson Street for actual vintage... but you should really take a look at - don't gag - Fairweather. They have a great suits/officewear section and most of them don't suck. I personally like some of their stuff as work clothes because the dark suits have an acceptable "CorpGoth" kind of look. Plus they sell their suits in "petite" sizing, which is great for short-waisted gals like me.
