I'm new to this forum, and should properly introduce myself, but I found this tidbit in the current issue of Maclean's magazine (April 3, 2006; page 13) and felt I had to share it with you all right away. The piece in its entirety reads:
We just bought a couple female rats about two weeks ago, and apparently Peekaboo was pregnant when we bought her because she just gave birth to a litter tonight.
