Looking for medieval/renaissance boots

Hello!  I haven't found any other information, so I thought I'd try this forum.

I'm looking to find a pair of renaissance/medieval boots.  I want them for future use, but particularly because for my wedding outfit I'm wearing a ranger/robin hood type outfit.  I haven't found anything online for a store in Vancouver that would sell those kinds of boots.

I'm leery about ordering shoes off the 'net simply because you never know with the sizing.  The idea of shipping boots back and forth to the tune of at least $15 a trip until I found some that fit doesn't appeal to me. 

What you're looking for looks similar to, um, for lack of better description, what the leather boys wear at the Pump Jack.  :P Regardless, they MUST be getting them from somewhere.  Perhaps try a leather/fetish shop?  They're basically a riding/motorcycle boot that's very, very plain. You might be able to find something that is a compromise...
