This is my first post and I believe this is the most appropriate place for it but if I'm wrong don't hesitate to move it (or correct me and I'll do so).
I recently moved to Vancouver and the other morning had someone ask me if I had been at Sin City the night before. I told them no and then curious, decided to google the name later. Looks amazing, and this site (which the Sin City links led me to) has a fair amount of information on it too about events, clubs, etc. Especially clubs - which leads me to the point of this post.
I'm 18 and a minor - I won't have adequate ID until next summer, and this obviously closes off a lot of my options for gothy, dancing fun. It appears to maybe close off ALL my options. If anyone feels like becoming my favorite-person-of-the-moment they would yell at me and tell me how wrong I am right about...now! In all serious though, anyone who knows of anything fun which would be open to an underager (yet hopefully not full of 14 year olds) let me know.
Thanks so much to whoever takes the time to read this, any and all responses/further info welcome.
It's been a few years now since there has been a regular all-ages event. Unfortunately the best you can do at this point is keep your eyes open for the odd live-band event at an all-ages venue.
Now that the goth scene is nearly 30 years old and the punk scene *is* 30 years old (so much for "no future") it's getting harder to find all-ages gigs.
