my favourite boots have died.  platforms with giant silver hooks in them.  big ole split up the sole and ka-chunk! fell right off.  7 years of happy boot-servitude have come to an end.

time to check out hellsgate mall....

I like Demonia stuff, but I"ve never been able to find them in half sizes.  8's just a tad wee, while 9's jumbo.  Alas.

Yeah, i checked it out but there was nothing stompy enough for me. 

Then my b/f  went and got himself some great fluevogs with rivets and heels.  Bastard.

*sigh*

Scalie Shoes isn't bad for pricing, but they really only sell "fashion" boots - they aren't meant to last for days and days of constant wear.  Still, for the prices they offer, you could buy 2 or 3 pairs of boots for what you'd normally spend online.  And 2 pairs last longer than one.  ;)

I need some new shitkicker cowboy boots - you've just inadvertantly reminded me.  Time to go on another bargain hunt...
