Hello All,

Greetings from the tiny little village of New Denver, BC, situated in the beautiful Kootenays.  Nice to find some like-minded people!  Gets a little lonely around here, considering I'm the only goth in town.  lol

I used to live on the coast, but my husband and I came here almost 5 years ago to raise the kids.  Wonderful place to do that, but a bit of a cultural wasteland, if you know what I mean.  :-/  To say that I miss the scene would be an understatement, but enough ranting.

I enjoy textile work, and make all of my own clothes.  I am currently pursueing an education in the textile and fashion industry in order to serve my fellow goths better LOL

Welcome! I lived in Castelgar for a two years, and worked in Nelson. You should have moved to Nelson, you'd be considered "Normal" there! It's the only town I know of in all of BC where I can go out dressed how I want, and not get started at like a freak, cuz there's always someone out there weirder than me! Lol

If you ever plan a shopping trip to Kelowna (like most people in the Kootneys do!), give me a little jingle! I ADORE meeting elder-family-goths like myself. : )
