Hello,

I've been around the Goth scene for over 20 years and I'm making a film out of my appreciation of all things Goth. I lived in Vancouver for about 3 years and enjoyed the scene there very much. Now I'm back in Toronto.

I'm working on a film called GOTH:insideOUT. So far I've shot interviews with folks mostly in Toronto and Montreal. I've had some interviews sent to me from the LA area too. My aim is to take a look at the Goth scene the world over, but that won't happen unless people support the effort.

I'm not asking for charity, I'm offering exclusive rewards to supporters. This is the only way the film is going to be a look at Goth world-wide, as I simply don't have the funds to pay for this any further on my own.

Edward Ka-Spel of the Legendary Pink Dots, Baron Marcus of the Vampire Beach Babes, Nancy Kilpatrick author of The Goth Bible, Lance Goth (the past owner of Sanctuary Vampire Sex Bar, The Catacombs, The Vatikan), The Westborough Baptist Church, Noah Korda from Bats Day in the Fun Park, Michael Ratt (of The Dark Place Gothic Society, healer and musician), Nik Beat (poet, musician, broadcaster), Stella Sanders the designer of S.I.N.S. Gothic Punk Fashions, Mitch Kroll (Beyond the Gates of Hell radio show, the band Masochistic Religion), the band Freakency, Cad Gold Jr., photographer Hugues LeBlanc, DJ Todd (ex-Sanctuary Vampire Sex Bar DJ and Internet broadcaster with synthetic.org), Jo Kuczynska of Fluffer Designs, Veronique Chevalier AKA The “Weird Val” of Cabaret, and author Liz Worth (“Treat Me Like Dirt”).

Kickstarter is all or nothing funding, so if we don’t raise our goal, we get nothing.

But, the truth is that we have a long way to go to get the funding we need to make this film a world-wide look at Goth.

If people out there are not going to support the film – and get some great, exclusive rewards – the film will not advance any further.

This is NOT charity, as you are not just giving us money and getting nothing back! No, it’s more like pre-sales and offers on great things you can’t get anywhere else. If folks are not going to be supportive of the film at this stage, then I’ll be forced to wrap it up where it stands with the footage I have now.

That means no look at Goth all over the world:, no exclusive video for you of the scene in other parts of the Globe like Japan, UK, across the USA, Canada, Germany, Eastern Europe, Australia, etc., no travel blog/video for you to access, no new uncut interviews with many interesting Goths, Goth bands, music performances, festivals, artists, business owners, etc. I’ll just edit the footage I have shot so far and that will be it.

It’s up to you, folks.
