I'm new to this forum, and should properly introduce myself, but I found this tidbit in the current issue of Maclean's magazine (April 3, 2006; page 13) and felt I had to share it with you all right away. The piece in its entirety reads:
We just bought a couple female rats about two weeks ago, and apparently Peekaboo was pregnant when we bought her because she just gave birth to a litter tonight. Since Jordan and I cannot hope to look after all the babies, we are sending out word to everyone we know: If you want a smart, affectionate, easy to maintain pet, then talk to us and we will give you a rat once they have been weaned.
Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington are two of the cities bidding for Convergence (annual Goth festival) next year. I'm especially happy about this because it's the west coast (of course) and a very do-able drive!
:) I live in Seattle and am planning on coming to the Sin City on April 8th. I was thinking that we might like to hit both Sin City and another club. Are there any other goth clubs on a Saturday in Vancouver? How late do clubs stay open and serve alcohol? What should I know about the scene up there? Are people friendly or stand offish?
